About Us

“A house that remembers...”
The most compelling thing about a heritage hotel isn't the amenities — it's the walls themselves. Lead with the history of the property: when it was built, who lived or traded there, how it passed through hands over the decades.

“The oldest corner of Kochi...”
A short love letter to the neighborhood — the Portuguese spice traders, the Jewish quarter, the Chinese fishing nets, the art scene that's grown around it, positions Kimansion not just as a place to sleep but as a doorway into the place itself.
"The family behind the door"
Kimansion isn’t a hotel to us; it’s a living piece of Fort Kochi’s history that we call home. In restoring this centuries-old Portuguese mansion, we chose to protect its soul—keeping the original wooden ceilings, vintage tiles, and a courtyard filled with family heirlooms. We wanted to skip the corporate feel entirely. When you step inside, we hope you don't feel like a transient guest, but like an old friend returning to a warm, slow-paced family estate.
